Results are in for Matthew Belcher Series – Race 3

Race 3 delivered another excellent day of racing, with Puffin (Peter Barrett) continuing their dominant form to secure a third consecutive race win and maintain a perfect scorecard at the top of the series standings.

Behind the leader, the racing was much tighter than the final results suggest. Aphrodite III (Travis Green) sailed a strong race to finish second, while Legaleze (John Rogers) produced one of its best performances of the series to claim third place. Solid results from Pelaga, Perseverance, and Merlot keep the pressure on in what is becoming a very competitive midfield battle.

Series Update
Three races into the Matthew Belcher Series and the leaderboard is beginning to take shape. Puffin leads on just 3 points, while Aphrodite III and Pelaga are tied on 13 points, with Aphrodite III holding second place on countback. Only a handful of points separate much of the fleet, meaning one good race could dramatically change the standings.

With several races still to come, the series is far from decided. Consistency, attendance, and making the most of every opportunity on the water will be the key to success as we head into Race 4.
